News Release

“Arc of Maui County is pleased to announce the charitable donation from THE JOSEPH AND VERA LONG FOUNDATION in the amount of $32,474” stated John Kuge, Board of Director President.

“This grant allowed our agency to purchase a new 2018 Ford XLT Transit 12 passenger vehicle for our Adult Day Health program” said Robert Lane, Chief Executive Officer. He continued, “The vehicle will be used to transport individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges to medical and dental appointments as well as recreational outings and community activities. The larger vehicle also helps meet safety transportation requirements for larger group outings.”

For over 60 years, Arc of Maui County has served individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Maui County by providing Residential, Day Program, Vocational and Waiver services.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, families, staff and individuals whom we are proud to serve, Arc of Maui County offers our deepest appreciation to The Joseph and Vera Long Foundation.
